Asymmetric Investing Gets an Upgrade

The website is all new.

The Asymmetric Investing website got an upgrade last week.

The original design was the default by my website and email provider, Beehiiv. But they’ve added new features to a website builder that I hope will make emails more readable and the website more useful.

I’ll go through some of the key updates below.

This publication is supported by its premium subscribers.

The Week That Was

The stock market has been volatile over the past few weeks, with few earnings reports and little economic data. This doesn’t look like a Santa Claus rally, and I have plenty of concerns about the direction of the economy. But more on that next week.

The Asymmetric Portfolio has been equally volatile but remains well ahead of the market. If there is a pullback, I will be happy to buy stocks at lower prices. But I also think there are some great values with tremendous growth already sitting in the portfolio.

In Case You Missed It

Here’s some of the content I put out this week:

Website Upgrades Are Here!

Over the last couple of months, the website has been getting upgrades in the background, and I hit “publish” this week. You will also see changes to the newsletter emails, like this one.

Here are the big highlights, and I would love to hear your thoughts.

The Homepage

At the top of the homepage, you will see a header that includes links to each spotlight article, a ticker page, videos from YouTube, the full archive, and a page of terms you need to know as an investor.

There’s also a stock ticker with up-to-date prices and daily moves in each stock in the Asymmetric Portfolio.

In the main section, you will see the latest articles in chronological order on the right and key articles in a 3-box on the left.

Scroll down a bit, and you’ll see the three most recent articles about each ticker. If you click on the “See All” next to a ticker, to go to the ticker page with all articles about the ticker.

Ticker Page

The ticker page is simple…and that’s the point.

It’s every ticker in the portfolio and all of the major concepts and strategies I write about regularly.

I will note, I haven’t used tickers since the start of Asymmetric Investing, so I need to go back and add tickers to older articles, which I will do over time.

If there’s something you can’t find on the ticker page, the archive has all articles and a search feature.

Videos

The video page will mainly be a link to my YouTube page. When there are upcoming live videos, like the AMA I did in December, I will include that link at the top of this page.

Those are the big updates.

My goal is to create a straightforward site that makes all my research easily accessible. As you look around and see the new email format, let me know what you think. I’ll be updating continuously, a little at a time.

Thanks for being a subscriber! I have a nice surprise coming this week.
