Yesterday, I launched a premium version of Asymmetric Investing on YouTube.
The premium content on YouTube will mirror what’s here in the Asymmetric Investing newsletter.
Premium AMAs may be live for YouTube members, and the replay will also be available to subscribers here — more on how to participate below.
A weekly premium email will include the video content from the previous week.
I will also be doing more live shows and interviews, which I will update subscribers on as those plans develop.
To be clear, this site will always be the #1 priority and the most cost-efficient way to get Asymmetric Investing content. Premium subscribers here will also get all video content as well.
Ask Me Anything
I’ll be doing an AMA on Asymmetric Investing topics around the 15th of each month. This will be posted on YouTube and sent to subscribers via a link in a normal email.
AMAs will be primarily for premium subscribers, but may periodically be open to free subscribers as well.
I have started a queue of questions below. If you have specific topics that would benefit from a special guest analyst I’m happy to work to facilitate that.
Being Greedy When Others Are Fearful
There’s one change to the Asymmetric Portfolio as follows:
I will double the amount invested in the Asymmetric Portfolio (to $1,000) in any month the S&P 500 is 20% below its all-time high.
This is intended to give a programmatic way to be greedy when the market is fearful.
Website Upgrades
The Asymmetric Investing website now has a navigation dropdown on the top that will point you to all current spotlight articles.
Featured articles on the home page also include the portfolio with all trades by month.
Beehiiv (the platform I use) is upgrading the website builder so expect more user improvements in 2025 as those tools are rolled out.
Onward and Upward in 2025
Other than these relatively minor changes, you can expect a similar Thursday-to-Sunday publishing schedule and a continued investment in the Asymmetric Universe of stocks.
I’ll send the final portfolio performance to premium subscribers mid-week and the stocks I’m buying in January on Thursday before the market opens.
